If you have read my other blog posts or if you follow me on social media, you know that I am the expert at helping busy women lose weight. I have been doing this for a number of years now and I have helped hundred of women to overcome the obstacles they face in order to lose the weight once and for all. Over the years I have come to realize that there are a lot of commonalties in the women I work with and talk to.
What I have here in this blog post is 3 common mistakes I have seen. I am sharing this with you because I want you to avoid the same mistakes so that you can see better weight loss results.
You can also take these and turn them into actionable steps that you can start working on today 🙂
Mistake #1: UNDER EATING – in calories overall and in protein. Under eating in calories will cause your body to think it is starving which will lead to holding ON to fat as a means for survival. Protein is the most important macro for boosting metabolism because it induces the biggest response from the metabolism. .
Mistake #2: NEGLECTING WATER & SLEEP – water is what flushes fat and toxins and helps the body to function in tip top shape. Chronic dehydration can lead to weight loss *resistance* 👎🏽 Sleep is when your busy recovers and prepares to be a fat burning machine the next day. This is also when a majority of hormone regulation happens to keep stress down, hunger regulated, and blood sugars even. .
Mistake #3: INCONSISTENCY – going up and down in your eating, your workouts, your weight etc. is not good for your physical or mental well being. You need to get on a plan that you can stick to forever and then do just that, stick to it! Week to week and month to month and year to year. Consistency is probably hands down the most important thing 🔑 .
